The attack on truth tellers continues
Washington Post editorial in its August 10 edition shouts disinformation and propaganda. It claims truth tellers about the COVID propaganda are killing people. It is a reminder that the fight for truth remains critical.er
Here is one of its assertions:
“In 2021, some 200,000 deaths in the United States could have been averted if patients had not gone unvaccinated.”
This is pure deception on several levels. It totally ignores all the adverse health impacts and deaths from COVID vaccines. And compare that number to the one million COVID deaths. It indicates that roughly 800,000 vaccinated people died.
Another totally wrong statement is “miracle cures such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine….declared useless by medical experts.” What an outrageous lie. Many thousands of physicians and medical researchers have totally backed both of these safe and effective generics.
Peter Hotez cited in the Post editorial to al said the following in an article titled “COVID vaccines: time to confront anti-vax aggression.”
“Today, the anti-vaccine empire has hundreds of websites and perhaps 58 million followers on social media. The bad guys are winning, in part because health agencies either underestimate or deny the reach of anti-science forces, and are ill-equipped to counter it.”
We truth tellers are winning! But we must continue to fight an evil system that is killing and maiming people.
The Post also ported results from s Kaiser Family Foundation poll. Who trusts the evil, lying Fauci: 86 percent of Democrats versus 25 percent of Republicans. The Post clearly thinks Democrats are smart and Republicans are dumb. In truth, Republicans are far better informed.
As to trust in the CDC: 89 percent of Democrats have it, versus just 41 percent of Republicans. Now we know who the victims of propaganda and disinformation mostly are.
I have a new, sizeable friend group: people who, like me, used to be committed, active Democrats but who now see themselves as neither Democrat nor Republican. One of these friends, Diane Perlman, writes in the substack https://coronawise.substack.com/ about what would be necessary to create a postpartisan era (among other topics related to the current manufactured crisis).
I'm not sure how polls that assume traditional dividing lines account for people like us. Anyway, Joel, a number of us read your work and appreciate your efforts.
Various entities that create these types of polls possibly have an interest in keeping the traditional lines of division where they are. I'm pretty sure that's true of the WaPo.
How can you have a gain of function vaccine for a gain of function virus! How is it my mother and I are unvaccinated and never had covid ( we did cheat with industrial respirators which are much easier to breathe out of and do indeed filter out viruses, I wouldn’t even use a medical mask as a dust mask!).
