My daughter age 17 and myself have not been sick with anything over the past two plus years. Despite being exposed to Covid infected people and possibly my son who was very Ill in February 2020 and I believe it to be Covid based upon his symptoms. Her are I are o positive blood and my son is b positive. Both of my grandmothers lived over 100 years so it may be genetic. I worked the entire time of Covid without a mask in an office and was exposed to people who came down with it just after visiting. I lived as normal a life as was possible. I am unvaccinated. My daughter is vaccinated. I do wonder about the vaccine shedding.

The Crown Princess cruise that made several stops in Mexico and then went on to Hawaii in early (February?) 2020 had several passengers and crew who tested positive for Covid-19. The ones not transported for care were quarantined. I have a recollection that something like 18% of that cruise population tested positive, and the test remained negative. That seems significant because the passengers shared ventilation system air, common dining areas and buffets, were attended to by same crew members, and participated in common activities—all before any vaccination was available. Probably, a significant percentage of the passengers were elderly because that is often true of cruise populations. So, did 82% have some sort of immunity? I would imagine most have since been vaccinated and/or gotten Covid later, so I’m not sure studying that group now would be relevant. Still, I wish a researcher would follow up with that population.
