Here is a summary of an article from Trial Site News on what Japanese researchers have revealed.
A team of scientists from Japan, led by Tanaka Shinya, of Hokkaido University, Institute for Chemical Reaction Design and Discovery, and three other corresponding authors introduce the world to a new Omicron variant of concern, BA.2.75. First identified in India in May 2022, this pathogen potentially possesses the ability to outcompete other subvariants such as BA.5, the current predominant Omicron subvariant in the United States. Importantly, TrialSite has demonstrated in past articles the importance of pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer-BioNTech and Modern to advance their vaccines to target particular mutations. Already, the concern in America is that while the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) told these companies to improve their vaccines to address BA.5, new clinical trial listings raise concerns that a more Omicron-generalized product would be released. What about new variants of concern such as BA.2.75? Would this require yet another booster with a different fundamental vaccine regimen? Does a consistently evolving pathogen change the worldwide public health scheme strategy and tactical considerations?
This new variant may replace BA5 now dominant in the US 5 and elsewhere. Here is what merits concern: will natural and vaccine/booster immunity be effective. Based on what we are seeing for BA5, there is reason to doubt effectiveness. So many people who took two vaccine and two booster shots have come down ill with COVID.
As to vitamin D that strengthens immune systems, note this from this site: it details use of vitamin D:
“As circumstantial as it may be, however, the evidence seemed strong enough to other scientists, who have advocated for actively increasing the uptake of the vitamin in the population. One of the most prominent calls came from the vitaminDforAll.org initiative that issued an open letter early in 2021 calling for “immediate widespread increased vitamin D intakes” in the general population. The letter was signed by over 200 scientists and doctors, each of whom accompanied their signature by two numbers: the intake levels that they recommended, and those that they followed personally. Most recommend taking 4000 IU (International Units), and they personally take much more.” My own work has found that 5,000 to 8,000 units daily are likely necessary to raise blood levels to well of 50 ng/ml.
Another issue that merits attention is new work that has proven hydroxychloroquine is effective in preventing COVID. Here are two articles that are very technical but make this case.
Systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized trials of hydroxychloroquine for the prevention of COVID-19

And this from this substack site: https://roundingtheearth.substack.com/
The bottome line is that HCQ was wrongly malligned and, in fact, a large amount of research showed it really was effective for prevention, and many others believe also effective for COVID treatment.

Vitamin D is essential for the human body to fight SARS-COV-2 [Laderoute M, Trained immunity involving HERV-K102 activation my promote recovery from COVID-19 providing a new vaccination paradigm against pandemic RNA viruses ( submitted) ]. There are two types of foamy macrophages the lipid body negative, highly vacuolated MI like proinflammatory macrophages (LB-FMs) which produce the HERV-K102 particles and the lipid body positive (oil red o strongly positive)M2 like anti-inflammatory macrophages (LB+FMs). Many viruses and other intracellular pathogens [Dias SSG et al, PLoS Pathogens, 2020; Wu X et al., Microbiol Pathog 2021; Cho HJ et al , BMC Infect Dis 2020] infect the protector LB-FM and convert them to the LB+FM to knock out the HERV-K102 protector system. Vitamin D deficiency promotes this conversion favoring the invading viruses and pathogens which is exacerbated with diabetes [Oh J et al, Circulation 2009]. Only the LB-FMs and its immediate precursors exhibit a highly active VDR signalling pathway of the 66 different cell types identified in BALF from severe patients [Ren X et al., Cell, 2021]. Yes, vitamin D is vital to survival!
Vitamin D, adopted as a non-toxic alternative to problematic Covid19 (C19) injections. clearly qualifies as a superior "toxics-use reduction" option. It is everywhere as widely available and cost free as the summer sun. In terms of rich dietary sources, Vitamin D can be produced as inexpensively and easily as homemade mushroom tea.
