My nephew, an experienced doc who also runs a SICU unit, refuses the EGT and has never told a patient to get it (although he's not a GP but a spine/neuro surgeon.)
Docs put their lives in jeopardy if they criticize the EGT's.
The real question is do these same docs recommend the EGT's for their patients? If so, their "Do No Harm" oath is null and void.
If physicians who know the EGT's are poison but refuse to make a stand, this evil will continue.
